In order to further implement the people's assessor system and deploy it in accordance with the requirements of the superiors, on the morning of October 22, the Juancheng court held an oath-taking ceremony for new people's assessors and conducted pre-post training for people's assessors. The meeting was presided over by Zhang Defeng, member of the party leading group and director of the Political Department.

At the meeting, Director Zhang Defeng read out the appointment decisions of 26 people's assessors and issued a letter of appointment to the people's assessors selected this time. Subsequently, under the leadership of Wu Anchao, the representative of the jurors, the new people's assessors faced the national flag, raised their right hands, and made a solemn oath of office.

After the swearing-in ceremony, Director Zhang Defeng trained the new people's assessors in terms of the significance of the people's assessors' work, how to better perform their duties, the rights and obligations of the people's assessors, professional ethics, and codes of conduct, and hoped that the new people's assessors would fully understand the sacred mission they shouldered, perform their duties, handle well the relationship between the people's assessors and their own work, and earnestly exercise the rights entrusted by the people.
