On October 24, the 2021 new people's assessor training held by the Yongji Municipal People's Court was successfully concluded.
During the training, the Yongji Municipal People's Court taught the new people's assessors the relevant contents of the judicial system and the People's Assessors Law, the basic guidelines for judges' professional ethics and work discipline, the basic knowledge of administrative adjudication and retrial, the basic knowledge of civil law and civil procedure law, and the basic knowledge of criminal law and criminal procedure law. The purpose of this training is to help new people's assessors strengthen their understanding of the people's assessor system and related legal business knowledge, lay a solid theoretical foundation for future jury work, and help new people's assessors understand the court's trial work process and adapt to their jobs in advance.
In order to test the effectiveness of the training, check for deficiencies and fill in the gaps, and consolidate the learning results, the Yongji Court organized all new people's assessors to participate in the examination after the training.
