Dai Mingquan, a native of Chongqing, has loved the art of painting since childhood. He worked as a commercial artist in 1973. In his spare time, he insisted on landscape sketching, worked silently for many years, worked hard, went deep into mountainous areas and ethnic minority areas, and painted a large number of watercolor and gouache landscape sketches. He is now a member of the Chongqing Artists Association and the honorary chairman of the Chongqing Banan District Artists Association, and his works have participated in many art exhibitions and won awards. More works are collected by art museums and private collections.
