Meghan desperately wants her children to earn royal titles?
A royal expert claims that Meghan Markle seemed to have changed her mind about giving her children royal titles after talking to Princess Beatrice and Eugenie.
According to royal commentator Neil Sean, the Duchess of Sussex had previously overlooked the importance of royal titles.
HRH status was revoked after Prince Harry and Meghan Markle withdrew from royal life in 2020, but they were still allowed to use the titles of Duke and Duchess of Sussex.
Meghan and Harry's children currently have no titles, named Archie Harrison Mountbatten Windsor and Lilibet Diana Montbatten Winsor, titles they haven't earned since Charles became king.
Mr Sean claimed that Meghan had changed her mind and saw how useful the titles were to both Princess Eugenie and her sister Princess Beatrice, and the Duchess was now determined to grab them.
But in a sensational interview with Oprah Winfrey in March 2021, Meghan seemed to completely ignore the importance of titles.
At the time, she said, "All the grandeur surrounding this is an attachment that I personally don't have."
"I've been a waitress, an actress, a princess, a duchess – I've always been Meghan, right?"
She added: "I've always been clear about who I am, independent of all these things, and my most important title is mom. I know that. ”
But now, Neil says Meghan has "made dramatic changes to the title" and thinks it's important for her and her children to keep it.
He said: "Harry and Meghan are very, very keen to keep these royal titles.
"After much deliberation, Meghan decided that these titles would be a good thing, not only for her, but also for her two children."
The expert continued: "Meghan has become very friendly with the senior members of the monarchy, mainly Princess Eugenie and Princess Beatrice.
After that, Megan realized how useful the title was, especially when you wanted to move in the right circle.
"That's why they want to grab the title."
Neil added: "It's really thanks to the fact that after getting to know Beatrice and Eugenie, she saw how useful these titles were for them.
"Their father, Prince Andrew, had to work very hard to ensure that his children received these titles."
Meanwhile, it has been claimed that their duke and duchess titles are at risk because they fear that King Charles might strip them of their titles in retaliation for the "complete scoundrels" in Harry's sweeping memoir, The Standby.
