Birds are human friends, spirits of nature, their existence is a beautiful scenery in nature, but also a barometer of the ecological environment. Recently, photography enthusiasts discovered the blue-throated hummingbird, which is known as "The Most Beautiful Bird in China" in the Huaihe National Wetland Park.

Through the videos and photos taken by photography enthusiasts, it can be seen that the small birds with bright feathers and beautiful shapes are blue-throated hummingbirds, which are resting on the branches and playing with each other.

Photography enthusiast Tian Weigang: The blue-throated bee tiger was found about 3 kilometers north of the Shouchun Road Bridge, when 4 or 5 were found, I played that day without a camera, and then two days later I shot specially, photographed two, the number of 5 to 6, not a lot, but the good news, the blue-throated bee tiger settled in this place, made a nest in that place, hatched the birds.

The blue-throated bee tiger is named after the blue throat and bee-eating species, and the national "three haves" protect birds. The bird inhabits the open land near the water in mountainous and hilly areas, often alone or in small groups, mainly distributed in the southern Anhui Mountains and Dabie Mountains, is a summer migratory bird, arriving in the province in late April every year, moving south in mid-September for wintering, the breeding period is From May to July.

The blue-throated bee tigers found this time are located in the wetland restoration area of The Weihe National Wetland Park, close to the urban area, and the number is about 5 to 6. This bird has higher environmental requirements, and it is usually said that the presence of blue-throated hummingbirds is a sign of good ecology, and it is still relatively rare to shoot at such a close distance in the Weihe National Wetland Park.

With the strengthening of the protection of the Weihe National Wetland Park in our city, the number of bird species in the wetland park has increased significantly, and the number of birds such as egrets, herons and white cranes that have not been seen for many years have increased significantly in the wetland conservation area during the 2015 waterbird survey.
