The chairman of Poland's ruling party revealed that Poland has filed a claim against Germany in the form of a state, demanding that Germany pay 6.2 trillion zlotys (about 9.08 trillion yuan) in compensation to Poland, because Germany once caused irreparable harm to the Polish people during World War II, and also destroyed most of Poland's buildings, so it is completely reasonable for Poland to propose so many war reparations.
The chairman of Poland's ruling party also stressed that Poland, while making a claim for reparations, was also preparing the next step to get the reparations back, including negotiations, although this is a "long and difficult" choice, but Poland will inevitably stick to it, and there is also a piece of advice to be given to the German government, that is, the amount of compensation proposed by Poland is already a "minimum standard", and if the German government cannot pay in time, then Poland's demands will gradually increase.
At the same time, the Polish prime minister also warned Germany that such compensation is Poland's last demand, if Germany refuses to pay this compensation and refuses to publish the truth to the world, then Poland and Germany will never be able to reconcile, which means that the EU will never be able to unite, hoping that the German government can recognize the mistakes of history and bear the corresponding price.
However, the current German economy is also dismal. Because Russia reduced the supply of natural gas to Germany, Germany was forced into "energy-saving mode", and most of the factories were curtailed by the German government and limited natural gas, which directly led to the decline in factory production capacity. The decline in production capacity not only caused Germany's tax revenue to fall, but also made Germany face the dilemma of industrial contraction.
In order to solve this dilemma, the German government can only turn to liquefied natural gas in the United States. However, don't look at the Cheap LNG in the United States, but it is ridiculously expensive to ship to Europe. Like an American LNG ship, the cost of purchasing a full load of natural gas in the United States is only $60 million, but once it arrives at a European port, the unloading price is as high as nearly $300 million.
Obviously, relying on German taxes, it is impossible to afford such a high price of natural gas. But the internal industrial crisis could not be solved, and the German government, which had no choice but to borrow money from banks and use the funds obtained from loans, to buy a large amount of American liquefied natural gas. In other words, Germany even borrowed money to buy natural gas, and there was no money to compensate Poland for 9 trillion claims.
In fact, Poland also knew about the situation in Germany, but the Polish government still chose to force the German government, because the current German government made them very dissatisfied. Just two months ago, the Polish prime minister accused the German government of "rebelling" and promised to give Poland such armored heavy weapons as "self-propelled anti-aircraft guns" in exchange for Polish military support to Ukraine, but after the Polish action, Germany repented.
Since this "rebellion" incident, Poland has set its sights on the German government, accusing Germany of supporting Ukraine from time to time and "not contributing to the work". Most interestingly, the Polish prime minister also accused Germany of being the largest "imperialist" country within the European Union.
