On August 25, Beijing time, the 2022 Badminton World Championships continued in Tokyo, Japan, and Chen Qingchen/Jia Yifan successfully won to reach the quarterfinals. In a clash with the Danish duo of Flurgardo/Tigson, the Van Chen duo won two straight sets 21–15, 21–9.

In the quarter-finals, Chen Qingchen /Jia Yifan will face Thailand's Kitti Halakul/Prajonga, the 7th seed.
