Prince Harry returned to Africa as president of Africa Park to the continent that meant so much to him, where he would host a group of American officials, environmentalists and philanthropists visiting wildlife and nature reserves.
Africa Park is a non-profit conservation organization that manages the national parks of the African continent.
Prince Harry repeatedly mentioned his love of Africa during a speech on climate change at the United Nations in July, as well as the realization that Meghan was his "soul mate" while traveling there.
"For most of my life, it has been my lifeline, a place where I have found peace and healing time and time again."
"There I felt like I could get close to my mother and seek comfort after her death."
Harry had previously spent some time in Malawi to protect elephants, and had taken his wife and children on visits to Africa while in the royal family.
