In 2015, teachers' monthly salaries ranged from 500,000 ($125) to 1.2 million riels (about $300), this year's teachers' monthly salaries ranged from 1.2 million ($300) to 2.1 million riels (about $525), and from the beginning of 2023, teachers will receive at least 1.5 million riels (about $375) per month.
