It is reported that this batch of fresh avocados was introduced as a sample, and will be imported on a large scale after the domestic importer confirms the quality of the goods. When fresh avocados enter the country, they must undergo on-site inspection by the customs, including verifying the quarantine permit for imported animals and plants, the official phytosanitary certificate of the exporting country, and checking for the presence of quarantine pests such as Mediterranean fruit flies. After investigation, the avocados were complete and well packaged, and no epidemic situation was found in the on-site quarantine. Pudong Airport Customs also took samples on the spot and sent them to the laboratory to implement risk monitoring of pesticides and food additives for edible agricultural products. The avocados were released after on-site sampling.
