Airbus's "Great White Whale" transport aircraft, because of its similar appearance to the Beluga Whale, this A300-600ST transport aircraft is called "Great White Whale". Airbus Beluga whales have a unique advantage in transporting large volumes of cargo, and although its load capacity is only 40 tons, its internal space allows the transport of cargo such as helicopters, engines, satellites and military equipment.
The newly launched Great White Whale XL is based on the Airbus A330-200F freighter modified to transport Airbus aircraft parts, which is larger than the currently used A300-600ST super transport aircraft, that is, "Great White Whale", so it is called Great White Whale XL. The main objective is to increase the transport capacity of large aircraft components to meet the needs of airbus A350XWB wide-body aircraft and other aircraft to increase production. The Great Beluga XL can increase the transport capacity of large parts of Airbus aircraft by 30%. It has been in shipping since 2018.
