Israeli troops attacked the West Bank at night, killing 2 and wounding 6
The Palestinian Health Ministry said the dead were Ajizi, 25, and Sob, 28, who had been shot in the chest and in the head, respectively.
The Israeli military announced an attack on the city of Nablus, but did not immediately comment on palestinian casualties.
Since the end of March, at least 52 Palestinians have been killed, mostly in the West Bank. The dead included suspected militants, but also non-combatants including Al Jazeera reporter Aklay.
Following successive Israeli attacks in recent months, security forces have launched raids in the West Bank on an almost daily basis. During the same period, 19 Israeli civilians were killed in Palestinian attacks on Israeli territory and 3 Arab-Israeli attackers were killed.
