Langkawi Wildlife Park opened in 2002 and was previously known as Langkawi Bird Park. With the increase in animal species, it was later renamed Langkawi Safari Park. It is home to thousands of species of birds, many of which are rare. Here you can see macaws, flamingos, peacocks and myna performances, which is very spirited.
Between the cramped aviary, the bloodstained walls have been repainted. However, the occasional strange noise at night still makes the flamingos, who look "cold" during the day, suspicious and huddled tightly together...
