I have always thought that growing vegetables is better than planting flowers, and I don't accept rebuttals [laughs]! I've always thought so and done it. If there is a place to grow, I must grow vegetables instead of flowers.

Students like to share their green plants with me: succulents, orchids, Phnom Penh hanging orchids, etc., as long as there is a summer vacation, they will undoubtedly die (because I will be away for a while)! And my dishes will be properly arranged.
First of all, the vegetables on the balcony, I will plant according to the time and length of time I left, the vegetables I planted on the balcony this year are cucumbers and cherry tomatoes, cucumbers have eaten two stubbles basically will not bear fruit, cherry tomatoes are also, the temperature is high, I can't stand it, the result is a few stubble after the self withering. Even if it doesn't wither, I will water according to the method of watering introduced in the media, such as cotton thread drip irrigation. I'll be happy to leave for dozens of days during the summer vacation, and even if my vegetables wither, I don't feel bad because I've already eaten their fruit. And some flowers are very expensive, if not well watered, it will be very painful to wither, and it will not be pleasant to spend summer vacation outside.
Secondly, what the plant flower appreciates for a long time is its leaves, whether the flower will bloom or not. And grow vegetables you can also appreciate the green plants, ripening may be able to see more brilliant landscapes than flowers: such as cherry tomatoes, strawberries, etc., is also red and beautiful.
Third, the economic value of vegetables is well known. Especially in the past three years of the epidemic, the balcony vegetable garden has relieved many people! So much so that in recent years, articles on growing vegetables on the balcony have been seen everywhere. It strengthened my determination not to grow flowers and vegetables.
Fourth, the vegetables grown by themselves know the roots, eat healthy and rest assured, and more importantly, many people finally know what the original taste of vegetables is.
