The Satanic leaf-tailed gecko (Latin scientific name: Uroplatus phantasticus) can grow up to 9 cm and lives in the east-central part of the island of Madagascar.

They can very realistically simulate dry leaves, rolling up their entire body like a curled leaf with the help of their own leaf tail. The Satan leaf-tailed lizard looks like it has "horns", and some species have red eyes so named (Fig. 1).
