Two successful entrepreneurs, Victor Borges and Frank Laigneau, were fascinated by the history and culture of Estremoz, an ancient Portuguese city, and founded the boutique Dá Licença, where they can stay, enjoy art galleries and food.
In Portuguese, Dá Licença means "with your consent" and contains the hospitality of locals and hotels, located on the hills of the Alentejo in southern Portugal, a few kilometres from Estremoz, with a unique geographical environment, a 360-degree landscape, a pure white, rustic sensibility, minimalist aesthetic design that blends contemporary design with folk craftsmanship and brings a new aesthetic experience to this ancient cultural city.
There are five luxurious suites in the interior, namely THE ROCK Rock, THE LOFT Loft, MY POOL My Pool, SKY POOL Sky Pool, SUNSET Sunset, etc., with different themes, the interior design integrates traditional crafts and modern art, looking forward to forming a dialogue between art and nature, and the decorative part is mainly based on late 19th century artwork and local craft furniture!
THE ROCK ROCK
Rich in Japanese ambience and exoticism, the suites resemble an amphitheater and are a place to relax and enjoy the stunning views.
The LOFT Loft
Like a large open studio with bedroom, living room and bathroom, all windows open, surrounded by the landscape of Allenrut and abundant natural light, guests can enjoy the view at any time, immersing themselves in a relaxed and tranquil environment.
MY POOL My pool
This is a stylish suite with a boat-like exterior and roof design, built-in AxeL Einar Hjorth furniture and local handmade products, like a small boat floating in the sea of Arenrut.
SKY POOL Sky Pool
The only restriction of the suite comes from the sky, and looking up at the luxurious marble pool, the view of the Alentejo comes into view.
SUNSET sunset
This is a large duplex apartment with unobstructed views of the olive groves, decorated with a local human design and pink marble, which is very romantic.
