Raytheon delivered the first LTAMDS anti-aircraft anti-missile integrated radar (low-level anti-missile sensor) to the U.S. proving ground. This radar also uses a digital array radar using revolutionary Gallium nitride technology. It has three antenna arrays – one main array in front and two auxiliary arrays in the back, tilted at an angle, providing 360-degree coverage detection, much more powerful than the current Patriot missile radar, and access to the IBCS anti-missile network.
