Jinchang City Museum

Founded in July 2010, Jinchang Museum is a comprehensive geographical museum focusing on collecting, researching, displaying and publicizing jinchang local historical relics. It was relocated to the new building in August 2017 and put into operation in June 2018. With a construction area of 23,000 square meters and an exhibition hall area of 6,000 square meters, the new museum is the main window for in-depth understanding of the 5,000-year-old rich historical and cultural heritage of Jinchang, the nickel capital.
At present, the museum has a collection of more than 1,500 pieces (sets) of historical relics, including 174 pieces (sets) of national precious cultural relics. Represented by turquoise phoenix-headed gold earrings and dragon-patterned bronze mirrors in the Eastern Zhou Dynasty, bronze horses of the Eastern Han Dynasty, Wei and Jin portrait bricks, and Gilded bronze bodhisattvas of the Ming Dynasty, especially the manhole cultural relics with a wide variety of types and exquisite craftsmanship, they are unique in China. The museum has more than 300 folk exhibits (sets), more than 100 paleontological fossils, Jurassic Jinchuan dragon head bone fossils, and Cretaceous dinosaur eggs that are loved by the audience.

Jinchuan National Mine Park
