【EV Vision Report】A few days ago, EV Vision learned from Ford officials that the Official Map of Ford E-Transit Custom was officially released, as the second pure E-commerce MPV after E-Transit, more details of the car will be released in September, and production will begin in 2023, this time only shows the appearance of the official map, the car will be produced in the Turkish factory, and will be sold in the European market in the future.
In terms of appearance, compared with Transit Custom, the biggest change occurred in the front, which adopted a dot matrix grille design at the front, the closed grille and the internal E logo reflected the identity of the new energy vehicle, and the LED headlights on both sides were redesigned. The charging port is located to the right of the bumper where it was issued, and the E-Transit and Custom badges are blackened instead.
As a van, the second and third rows and rear windows are enclosed to enhance practicality. The interior was not disclosed, but it is expected to use the SYNC 4 infotainment system with a 12-inch display.
In terms of power, the official revealed that E-Transit Custom can cover up to 380km between two charges, or will use the same 68kWh battery pack as E-Transit, support DC fast charging, foreign media said that E-Transit Custom is equipped with the same motor as E-Transit, are located in the rear axle, 100 km acceleration time is less than 7s, the top speed is about 137km/h.
