  Petrology: Meteorites are basalt rocks, consisting of volatile pyroxene (~30 vol.%, size from 20 to 2000 μm), pyroxene (~15 vol.%, size from 20 to 2000 μm), and plagioclase (20 to 50 vol.%, size from 2500 μm). Small amounts of silicon and meteoric iron sulfide. It has a subphitic texture of diabase.

  Geochemistry: Low-Ca pyroxene: Fs61.2 wo1.8±0.3±0.1, iron/manganese = 36.0±0.6, n = 6; high-Ca pyroxene: Fs46.2 wo21.9±4.4±5.1, iron/manganese = 33.9±0.9, n = 4; (electron probe).

Meteorite classification: Eucrite chondrite-free meteorites

       HeD family chondrites consist of three types of meteorites: Howardite (bronze calcium chondrite), Eucrite (calcium long chondrite meteorite), and Diogenite (perilla pyroxene chondrite meteorite). In recent years, through the spectral analysis of the solar system's fourth asteroid --- Vesta, and comparing the mineralogical composition of hed-group chondrite-free meteorites, the field of meteorite research generally agrees that the HEED-group chondrite-free meteorite is the debris produced by the collision of Vesta and other small bodies, and after a long space trip, the trajectory of the fragments intersects with the earth's orbit, and finally falls to the surface of the earth under the influence of the earth's gravity.

Eucrite (calcium-glow chondrite), derived from Vesta, is part of the HED meteorite group (E, Eucrite in HED).
