Walking on the ecological corridor of the DashaHe River, you can feel the "beautiful Nanshan" picture of the mountains and seas of Nanshan, the integration of the water city, and the blossoming of flowers in all seasons. The Dashahe Ecological Corridor is a popular punching point for Shenzhen residents, and since its completion and operation, it has continuously attracted visitors from all over the world. With its unique charm, it connects the Shenzhen Bay Coastal Leisure Belt and the Shenzhen Talent Park, which together constitute the most beautiful landscape river in Shenzhen and the largest coastal slow-moving system.
The three themes create the most beautiful landscape river in Shenzhen
The 13.7-kilometer-long Dasha River runs through the whole territory of Nanshan, connecting Xili Lake, University Town, High-tech Zone and Shenzhen Bay, and is known as the most beautiful "city necklace" in Shenzhen. Jiuxiangling Wetland Park is a landscape node on the Ecological Corridor of Dashahe River, where you can not only walk the baby to play, but also date and enjoy the scenery and feel the romantic feelings.
The wetland park makes full use of the advantages of the large number of green spaces along the river and the proximity to the Xili reclaimed water plant to create a characteristic park with the theme of "wetland forest" that integrates functionality and ornamentation. The park is full of flowers, green trees, insects and birds, very comfortable.
The space places with different functions meet the needs of the surrounding residents for rest, communication and interaction. There is a children's activity area specially designed for parents and children, with slides, climbing ladders, children's beach and other play facilities. Through the shuttle water boardwalk, cascading aquatic plant purification areas, the wetland park shows how the ecological cycle can be used to protect the water landscape plants from pollution. The lotus ponds are connected by wooden boardwalks, changing scenery step by step, winding paths, birds flying in the air, and fish swimming shallow bottoms.
The wetland also sets up ecological science popularization landscapes such as bird watching pavilions, insect houses, water purification wetlands, and nature classrooms, providing a window for nature education for the public.
According to the different characteristics of the river, the Dasha River is divided into upstream, middle and downstream, corresponding to the three themes of the college road, urban forest and dynamic waterfront.
As the source, the Dasha River starts from the Changlingpi Reservoir and passes through SUSTech, Shenzhen University Xili Campus, Shenzhen University Town from east to west, and some sections of the river have become an important ecological landscape of the campus. Here, the meandering river and the campus scenery are set up; along the coast, there are nodes such as the college rowing practice area, the water wetland garden, the reading garden, the riverside theater, the swimming lawn, the research platform, etc.; and the activity space of the teachers and students of the campus is combined to form a poetic romantic landscape.
The river leads to Lishan Road, and turns south to the sea. The hinterland on both sides of the middle reaches of the Dasha River is wider, and the surrounding areas are mostly residential areas, and there are important ecological green nodes such as Dachong Park, Dashahe Park, Tanglang Mountain, Jiuxiangling Wetland Park along the way. The river landscape is connected with the surrounding green space to form a green necklace of different sizes through the city, creating an ecological and natural green forest in the hinterland of the city, bringing a different natural experience to the surrounding residents.
Dachong Park is equipped with a romantic riverside stage square, a fun children's activity park, a honey source plant viewing area, an ecological Lilin bird watching area, etc., providing a green space for surrounding residents to exercise and relax daily.
Dashahe Park extends the existing mountain landscape to the river, opens the interface along the river, realizes the integration and unity of mountain and river scenery, and brings people a richer tour experience with staggered step-by-step gardens; Longjing Community Park integrates the theme of ecological interaction, setting up nodes such as tree houses, outdoor dining tables, wave skateboards, and playing sand pools, creating characteristic spaces for children's activities, health and fitness, and forest exploration.
The lower reaches of the Dasha River are seamlessly connected to the Shenzhen Bay Promenade, with wide and deep water, on the one hand is a golf course without buildings, and on the other side is the Nanshan Science and Technology Park, where high-rise buildings and famous enterprises gather. In this dynamic waterfront section, you can see water rowing and dragon boat races. What you see here is the original ecology of the river, the harmonious coexistence of man and nature, and the communion of Jingcheng.

At the beginning of its construction, the beauty of Dashahe River adhered to the concept of people-oriented, ecological priority and green development, adhered to the exquisitely crafted, excellence and international first-class standards, and ingeniously built a high-value Dashahe ecological corridor to set a benchmark for the landscape construction of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
It is reported that when the construction of the Dashahe Ecological Corridor was launched, Nanshan District entrusted China Resources (Shenzhen) Co., Ltd. to carry out the whole process of construction through public bidding, effectively overcoming the difficulties of tight time, heavy tasks, high standards, technical difficulties, high coordination difficulties, and insufficient professional strength of major projects, and realized the professional and high-quality and efficient construction of government investment projects.
As a construction unit, the Nanshan District Urban Management and Comprehensive Law Enforcement Bureau draws elite troops from the system to enter the project department of the construction site, goes deep into the front line, commands from the front, and fights together with the construction team, strengthens the supervision and control of the construction progress, quality and safe production on the spot, creates high-quality projects, people's hearts projects, and safety projects, and ensures that the Dashahe Ecological Corridor is completed with quality assurance and safety.
Wang Xiao, who was the general manager of China Resources Land South China Region, said that the construction of the Dashahe Ecological Corridor on behalf of the Dasha River has created a diversified urban riverbank landscape sequence and urban water environment through landscape transformation and upgrading, which has become a benchmark project for the ecological construction and landscape improvement of "urban" rivers in the country.
Looking back on the scene of the construction now, the staff involved in the Nanshan District Urban Management Bureau is still vividly remembered.
