Egretta garzetta (scientific name: Egretta garzetta) is a large and medium-sized wading bird, also known as small egret, egret, white feather plover, common name white crane, egret, white bird, hoe, heron, silk qin, snowman, cup of heron. It belongs to the egret genus of the family Heronidae. There are 13 species of birds in the genus Egret, including the Great Egret, the Middle Egret, the Egret, the Yellow-billed Egret, and the Snow Heron. There are some great egrets in Hutubi, which are commonly migratory birds that fly to the south for wintering. It likes rice paddies, riverbanks, sandy beaches, mudflats and small coastal streams. They feed in scattered flocks, often mixed with herons, cormorants, gulls, etc.
