Recently, our region sent personnel to visit Poland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Croatia, Slovenia, Estonia, Latvia and other 8 central and Eastern European countries. From April 21st to 26th, we carried out research and docking exchanges in Slovakia and Hungary, during which we paid in-depth visits to enterprises, business associations, finance, government and other institutions, and further broadened the channels of exchange and cooperation between the China-Czech Republic Industrial Park and the two countries.

Actively negotiate with the intended enterprises of the two countries

Our district has met with the Slovakia United Industries Company, Sympatia Company and the Technical Group of the Waste Hydrogen Production Cooperation Project, the Hungarian Ouqiao Science and Technology Industrial Park, the Hungarian Wick Group, waveex company, and the China-Europe Business and Logistics Cooperation Park, and negotiated and docked.

After contact, our district and Slovak enterprises reached a preliminary cooperation intention on dairy processing cooperation projects, industrial waste resource utilization projects, garbage hydrogen production cooperation projects, and reached strategic cooperation intentions with Hungarian enterprises on overseas e-commerce, trade cooperation projects, WAVEEX mobile phone radiation protection products research and development trade cooperation projects, trade and logistics cooperation projects. At the same time, our district issued an invitation to the heads of various enterprises to participate in the 4th China-Central and Eastern Europe (Cangzhou) SME Cooperation Forum.

Docking business associations and financial institutions of the two countries

Our region has successively docked with the Hungarian Branch of China Construction Bank, the President of the Association of Traditional Chinese Medicine of Eastern Europe, the China-Central and Eastern European Research Institute, the Hungarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Hungarian Branch of the Bank of China, the Central Bank of Hungary and other institutions. During the period, our district focused on the advantages of resources, location, industry and other advantages to comprehensively promote and publicize the China-Central and Eastern Europe (Cangzhou) SME Cooperation Zone, and collected clues such as international TCM cooperation projects and international financial cooperation projects. In addition, our district issued invitations to various institutions to participate in the 4th China-Central and Eastern Europe (Cangzhou) SME Cooperation Forum.

Visit embassies and foreign government agencies

During the visit, our region visited the Chinese Embassy in Slovakia, the Churg Municipal Government and the Hungarian Export Promotion Agency (HIPA). Among them, he held discussions with Ambassador to Slovakia Sun Lijie on new opportunities for bilateral cooperation between China and Slovakia and the construction of the China-Central and Eastern Europe (Cangzhou) SME Cooperation Zone; exchanged views with Mr. JANOS FUSTOS, Mayor of Churgues; held discussions with representatives of the Promotion Bureau, including Ms. Lehóczki Anett, Director of Bilateral Trade Promotion of the Hungarian Export Promotion Agency, Ms. Ihasz Zsanett, Director of the China Department, and other representatives of the Promotion Bureau. Agreement was reached on the establishment of a normalized liaison mechanism and the development of cooperation in commerce and trade.

According to statistics, the GDP in 2020 is 158.1 billion US dollars, ranking in the top five of Central and Eastern European countries, and the per capita GDP ranks eighth among Central and Eastern European countries. Its advantageous industries are the professional machinery and vehicle industry, the medical industry, the food industry, the green industry, the information and communication technology industry, and the tourism industry.

The city of Churgh is located in the southwest of Hungary, with its superior geographical location and convenient transportation. The city is rich in forest resources and has a developed wood processing industry. On September 1, 2021, at the 3rd China-Central and Eastern Europe (Cangzhou) SME Cooperation Forum, the city and Churg City reached a consensus on the establishment of sister city relations, and jointly signed the "Letter of Intent of the People's Republic of China on Establishing Sister City Relations between Cangzhou City in Hebei Province and Churg City in Hungary", laying a solid foundation for multi-level three-dimensional exchanges and all-round cooperation between bilateral cities.
