This time, there were three pumpkin seedlings growing in the pot, and I could recognize them. Pumpkin leaves are large, a bit prickly, with thick stalks and a pointed top.
But soon several seedlings of another kind grew in the pot, and I can't remember what it was.
Recognized from the phone, the result is different every time it gives a different result. One will say winter melon, the next will say watermelon, and the next will say pumpkin.
I know pumpkins, certainly not. Is it a watermelon or a winter melon?
In fact, I still suspect that it is a gourd, because I seem to have this seed.
Today I used my brain and tried to search by name, and now it feels like there is an answer.
First of all, I searched for winter melon, and the results given were not very clear.
Then I searched for winter melon flowers, and I saw that the flowers were quite similar, they were all bright yellow flowers.
But I vaguely saw that there were some small stripes on my melon, like a watermelon and a small golden melon.
If you look at it from the stripes, it could be watermelon. Winter melons shouldn't have stripes.
Then I searched for watermelon flowers again, and it became clear that the flowers were the same and the leaves were the same.
The leaves are that kind of split.
I think it's more likely. However, it is not a reservation to reserve the opinion first, and it will be decided in a few days to see the melon and grow up a little longer.
Today the weather was overcast, dusky, the clouds were thick, there was no sun, and it seemed like it was going to rain.
Although there was no wind, it felt cold outside.
Today the little watermelon bloomed with one female flower and two male flowers.
In the morning, I thought about pollinating it. Although I don't know exactly if it needs pollination.
The pollen on the male flowers is very small, very inconspicuous, mainly because the flowers themselves are very small, unlike the pumpkin flowers that bloom very largely, and the stamens are covered with a layer of hairy pollen.
But I think it is safer to give powder, in case you do not pollinate and fall fruit, it is a pity.
Use a fine brush to point at the stamens, and then point to the female buds, hoping that it can grow.
The little melon pollinated yesterday is more obvious today, maybe I am too anxious.
I looked closely for each seedling and found that there was a small melon growing. There is a layer of hairy fine hairs on the melon, is the watermelon like this?
Let's just think of it as a watermelon. There are still a lot of flowers on the watermelon seedlings, so that no matter which fruit blooms, it is possible to encounter male flowers that bloom on the same day.
The flowers on top of the first pumpkin fruit dried up, and the small pumpkins grew firmly.
A new melon was also found on another seedling, and it is estimated that it will take four or five days to grow.
