Second, the performance of the running score

In the core hardware part, OPPO K10 is first equipped with Tianji 8000-MAX processor, which is built by TSMC's 5nm process, 4+4 octa-core CPU architecture design, including 4 Arm Cortex-A78 cores with a main frequency of 2.75GHz, and the GPU part uses Arm Mali-G610 six-core GPU.

Compared with the Tianji 8100, the 78 large core frequency of the Tianji 8000 is slightly lower than 0.1GHz, and the GPU part is also G610, but the main frequency of the Tianji 8100 is 20% higher, in fact, the performance gap between the Tianji 8000 and the Tianji 8100 is already very small.

Tianji 8000-MAX is also a chip born under the "Tianji 5G open architecture" strategy, and the architecture is the same as that of Tianji 8000, the former is mainly for screen response, application launch, screen sliding and game frame rate chip-level special tuning.

In addition to the Tianji 8000-MAX, the OPPO K10 also comes standard with UFS3.1 + LPDDR5.

Let's take a look at the running score:

As shown in the figure above, oppo K10 received 760,000+ points in the Antutu running score; of which the CPU was 194525 and the GPU was 275535;

From the perspective of Antutu's running score, OPPO K10's 760,000 + closely follows K10 Pro's (Snapdragon 888) 790,000 + points, and also far exceeds the Snapdragon 870's 720,000+ score.

In the GeekBench 5 test, the K10 single-core score is 928 points, multi-core 3724, single-core score is not as good as OPPO K10 Pro (Snapdragon 888), but the multi-core score is far superior to the Snapdragon 888 and Snapdragon 870.

From the perspective of running scores, the strength of Tianji 8000-MAX is indeed not to be underestimated, and the overall performance performance is basically better than that of Snapdragon 870, and the sub-flagship SoC positioning is undoubted.

Third, the game experience

After measuring the running score, let's take a look at the game performance.

Also "Original God" and "Peace Elite".

In the test, the phone's esports mode was turned on in the sidebar, as well as extreme frame stabilization.

The first is The Peace Elite.

OPPO K10 Review: The first Tianji 8000-MAX, can compete with the Snapdragon 888

IT House chose smooth picture quality + 90Hz, measured a game (26 minutes), OPPO K10's average frame rate of 86fps, higher than OPPO K10 Pro's 74.8fps.

From the frame rate chart, oppo K10 is about the first 10 minutes, while K10 Pro lasts 3 minutes.

After 11 minutes, the frame rate will reach around 84fps, and the frame rate will be maintained.

Similarly, the OPPO K10 doesn't have any visible stuttering throughout the game. Frame drop is also not cliff-breaker, and it is clear that HyperBoost full-link game frame stabilization technology has played a decisive role.

Thanks to the excellent energy efficiency ratio of the Tianji 8000-MAX, oppo K10 is also quite active in the four large cores of the Peace Elite game.

The final average power consumption is 4.3W (K10 is a single cell).

OPPO K10 Review: The first Tianji 8000-MAX, can compete with the Snapdragon 888

Also a Peace Elite game, oppo K10 Pro has an average power consumption of around 4W, but oppo K10's game frame rate is significantly higher than the former.

Let's take a look at the Game of the Original Gods.

It is still high-end picture quality + 60 frames, dynamic blur is turned off, the game scene chooses to fight monsters in the wild, and in the game of about 30 minutes, oppo K10 has an average frame rate of 40.7fps, which also exceeds the K10 Pro's 35.4fps.

OPPO K10 Review: The first Tianji 8000-MAX, can compete with the Snapdragon 888

Most importantly, OPPO K10 in the "Original God" game, in addition to the first 2 minutes of the frame rate fluctuates between 60-50, the later stage is basically stable throughout the 40fps, even if you encounter a long time to fight monsters battle scene, the frame rate is still firm at 40fps, this performance, is really surprising.

In terms of power consumption, oppo K10 reached 5.4W, slightly higher than OPPO K10 Pro's 4.72W.

If you want a higher frame of the original god performance, you can also turn off the limit stable frame, at this time the frame rate fluctuation will be slightly larger, but the average frame rate is higher, the same test conditions, its frame rate exceeds 50fps, for a chip positioned as a "sub-flagship", this performance is really surprising.

(OPPO K10 Pro turns off limit stable frames, measured for 15 minutes under the same conditions, average frame rate of 40fps)

brief summary:

Through the actual measurement of OPPO K10 and K10 Pro, two new machine games, (open the limit stable frame) OPPO K10's game frame rate performance in "Original God" and "Peace Elite" is better than oppo K10 Pro.

As shown in the figure above, basically the same test environment, equipped with the K10 of Tianji 8000-MAX, the frame rate of the Game of The Original God is obviously more stable than that of the K10 Pro equipped with the Snapdragon 888, and the frame rate of Peace Elite is also higher.

Fast charge part, speed mode, OPPO K10 equipped with 67W super flash charge, 5000mAh battery, 29 minutes can be charged to 80%, 45 minutes to 100%, or that sentence, in the same gear products, this charging speed and battery capacity, belongs to the first echelon.

Fourth, the actual measurement of images

In the video section, the OPPO K10 is equipped with 64 million main cameras, as well as 8 million ultra-wide angle and 2 million "tactical" lenses.

Naturally, it can't beat the OPPO K10 Pro's Sony IMX766 oversized bottom sensor (with OIS), but it can also meet the players' daily "code scanning" needs.

Ultra wide angle

From the sample point of view, the gap between the OPPO K10 Pro and the K10 main camera sample is still more obvious, on the one hand, the difference in color, K10 Pro is more vivid, the white balance is more accurate, and the K10 is slightly dull.

Secondly, the K10 Pro also has quite good dynamic range, such as the third contrast sample above, the sunset highlight part on the left side of the upper floor, the K10 Pro suppresses the highlight part and restores the clouds in the sky; while the K10 area is obviously overexposed, and the sky details are no longer visible.

In terms of ultra-wide angle, the performance of the two mobile phones is similar, which is good at first glance, but after all, the 8 million resolution is limited, the edge part is easy to paste, and the K10 Pro is slightly more vivid in terms of color.

Overall, the OPPO K10's performance is not as good as the K10 Pro's, but it is enough, and it belongs to the level of performance that this gear should have. The ultra-wide-angle performance is also in line with expectations, if not enlarged, the look and feel is very good, but the details are slightly enlarged, you can see some smear marks, obviously 8 million pixels can only be said to be enough.

summary:

In the current environment, oppo K10 equipped with this Tianji 8000-MAX, is a rare good chip that takes into account power consumption and performance, and has the tendency to replace last year's "Golden Oil" SoC Snapdragon 870, there is no doubt that the Tianji 8000 series is the leader of this year's mid-range price segment chips.

OPPO K10 Review: The first Tianji 8000-MAX, can compete with the Snapdragon 888

In the same gear of the product, oppo K10 advantages focus on performance and hardware parts: Tianji 8000-MAX + UFS3.1 extremely fast memory + LPDDR5 running memory, 67W super flash charge, X-axis linear motor, etc., for the pursuit of value, the pursuit of performance of the small partner, OPPO K10 is a very good choice.

Of course, the OPPO K10 also has compromises due to cost, such as the screen, such as the material for the fuselage, such as the camera that is only enough. However, given the combined budget and needs, the OPPO K10 is still well worth starting.

If you're more concerned about a comprehensive experience close to the flagship or comparable to a performance flagship, there's also the OPPO K10 Pro waiting for you.
