However, from May 1, the newly purchased car is exempted from the inspection and verification step before the license plate, only the car needs to complete the inspection before leaving the factory, the production enterprise and the public security traffic management department share vehicle information, the masses are exempted from the inspection of the motor vehicle when registering, and can be directly licensed, saving a lot of time.
It is worth noting that at this stage, only small and micro non-operating passenger cars are exempt from inspection. At the same time, it is also necessary for car companies to complete the information docking with the vehicle management system before the vehicle leaves the factory.
License plates can be exchanged if the conditions are met
License plate swap means that if there are two cars under the same owner's name, you can apply for the license plates of the two cars to be exchanged. However, two vehicles exchanging license plates must meet one or more of the following three conditions:
(1) As long as both vehicles are registered with the vehicle control office of the same jurisdiction
(2) If both cars are of the same type of number plate
(3) If both vehicles are non-operational vehicles
It is worth noting that each motor vehicle can only change the license plate once a year, and does not support off-site number plates and different types of number plate exchange.

In addition, the new regulations also adopt a national "one-card general office" for passenger cars, and car owners are exempted from submitting residence registration certificates when handling small and micro non-passenger models, as long as they provide id cards. That is to say, to apply for a passenger car outside the household registration place, without a residence permit, as long as the ID card can be.
Motorcycles are sold with license plates
Cities with conditions can promote motorcycle licensed sales, whether it is to buy insurance, register or pay taxes can be directly handled at the motorcycle sales office, without taking to the vehicle management office.
