As an annual blockbuster product of SAIC Roewe, the roewe 3rd generation RX5 is created by the international team of SAIC Design-London Forward-looking Design Center, and Alexandre Bache, the chief designer who once created the Lexus IS-F series, combines oriental aesthetics with global vision to create the roewe 3rd generation RX5 with oriental aesthetics.

Alexandre Bache is the Assistant Principal Designer of SAIC Design-London Forward Design Center and a key core member of the new third-generation Roewe RX5 project. He graduated from the École d'Art, Design and Management Supérieure des Creapole in Paris, and in his subsequent work history, the Lexus IS-F series is a major contributor to the work process, and he has also been involved in the work process of spindle mesh design, a lexus iconic element.

The new 3rd Generation Roewe RX5 was one of the first major design projects undertaken by the London team.

Carl Gotham, Director of Forward-Looking Design at SAIC Design-London Forward Design Centre, said Roewe has grown into a brand that stands for all-round quality, technology and home safety. The team worked closely with the Shanghai Anting headquarters of SAIC Design Center and constantly exchanged ideas, making the new third-generation Roewe RX5 more technological and futuristic, and handing over a design plan that is suitable for both the Chinese market and international competitiveness.

The new third-generation Roewe RX5 front face is equipped with a large mouth grille, with sharp shaped light sets on both sides, full of combat effectiveness. The rear of the car is also equipped with the popular through-type taillight set, which is lit to create a strong recognition. The new car has the largest body width of its class, up to 1890mm, which is more dominant than the Volkswagen Tiguan L (1839mm), which is positioned as a mid-size SUV, and the wheelbase is increased by 57mm compared to the previous generation model to 2765mm.

In addition, the new third-generation Roewe RX5 will be available in a variety of power combinations.
