It's a 1/6 handmade featuring Tina, the heroine of Final Fantasy VI, driving the mech with a sword in her hand. The handmade is available in a limited edition of 600 units worldwide (including 150 in Japan), and will be available for pre-order on April 25, and is expected to ship on July 28, 2023.
Because of the exaggerated price, the handmade even attracted the attention of Hironobu Sakaguchi, the father of Final Fantasy, who tweeted and asked: "Is this a bit expensive?" Is it okay with Square Enix?"
It is true that the handmade FF6 illustrations made by Yoshitaka Amano are gorgeously made, well-looking, the action is expressive, and the characters are realistic, but the price is a bit exaggerated.
Hironobu Sakaguchi left Square Enix in 2003 to form the studio Mistwalker. He added that the largest three-dimensional sculpture they made was not as valuable as this handmade one.
