Most of the games are divided into standard and deluxe versions, and some manufacturers have used some small means to stimulate player consumption in order to make players choose the more expensive deluxe version. For example, you can unlock the game a while in advance, or give away some game items. This has been a practice that has not been favored by players, and in Final Fantasy: Origins, Square Enix said that only by purchasing the Digital Deluxe Edition can you unlock some of the missions.
Earlier, SE announced that the pre-sale Final Fantasy Origins Digital Deluxe Edition will come with three additional missions, in addition to a digital picture book, a digital mini soundtrack, early access to the game, some additional weapons and a PS4 theme. To fans' confusion and annoyance, SE's statement bluntly stated that none of these missions could be purchased separately. At first glance, this suggests that the only way to unlock these quests is to pre-order the digital deluxe version.
While some people are not satisfied with this, others believe that this is a misunderstanding of SE. The game mentions in the list of xbox digital stores that three additional missions are part of the season pass. The season pass can not only be purchased after it is issued, but its content will also be released separately. This may seem to contradict SE's claims, but we can assume that fans who have purchased the physical version can still unlock these quests by purchasing season passes.
