Although "Strangers in Paradise" final fantasy origins won the top spot in Japan's sales list last week
But judging from the Final Fantasy series' own achievements, this new work does not perform so well in Japan.
According to Twitter account Game Data Library, the physical version of Paradise's Alien Final Fantasy Origins sold less than 50,000 copies in Japan in its first week, ranking fourth from the bottom on the Japanese first-week sales list for the entire series. The game sold only better in its first week than Final Fantasy Fables: Chocobo on wii platforms, Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles, and Final Fantasy Fables: Chocobo on NDS.

On the other hand, the PC version of Paradise's Alien Final Fantasy Origins (exclusive to the Epic Games Store) also performed unsatisfactorily, with a number of issues such as poor picture quality, jagged and blurry graphics, and a decrease in frame rates during 1v1 battles. Foreign media VGC believes that players who want to buy the PC version of this game are best to wait for the official optimization patch.
