Let the universe "hear", there is such a story!

April 24, the seventh China Space Day

The journey from the blue wisps of the road to the sea of stars

"Ignition!"

At 21:35 on April 24, 1970, China's first artificial earth satellite "Dongfanghong I" was ignited at the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center, knocking on the door to the vast universe. Since then, China has become the fifth country in the world to develop and launch artificial satellites on its own.

"On National Day in 1964, a large-scale musical and dance epic "Dongfang Hong" was performed, and we went to see it at that time and were very impressed!" Hu Qi, a member of the overall group of the "Dongfanghong No. 1" satellite, said in an exclusive interview with The People's Daily News. He Zhenghua, then head of the overall satellite group, immediately proposed that the satellite be named "Dongfanghong No. 1" and named it .

"Previously, we all called it 'the first satellite on the mainland'. It was probably not until 1967 that it was officially named 'Dongfanghong No.1'. Hu Qizheng said.

"We hope that everyone can hear the call sign of this satellite and recognize that this is our satellite." Hu Qizheng sighed that at the beginning, scientists only wanted to use the initial telegram code of the word "Dong" as a transmission call sign, and after the team's unremitting efforts, it was not easy to finally let the "Dongfang Hong" music play in space, and really let the satellite "listen".

"The successful launch of 'Dongfanghong I' seems to have been yesterday, and we also embarked on the road of development with hopes and dreams." Peng Chengrong, who was once the leader of the overall team of a satellite, said that a generation of astronauts has paid countless sweat and efforts for this, and even if there are thousands of difficulties, there is no complaint or regret.

If "I don't know what year it is in the heavenly palace" records our curiosity, then "nine days to catch the moon" envisions our dreams. From "Dongfanghong No. 1" to Shenzhou No. 13, what is imprinted is the unremitting pursuit of the "Flying Dream" by the sons and daughters of China.

Astronauts travel in space, explore the sky again, and extend the boundaries of exploration; the Tiangong class is twice opened, which is interesting and reveals the secret of weightlessness; the female astronaut Wang Yaping's out-of-the-cabin activity is the first step in China's female extravehicular spacewalk.

"I have a dream, when I grow up, I want to be a member of the 'expedition team' and say hello to the 'Dongfanghong One' on the way." On the theme of "aerospace", Du Mingzhen, a student at the Experimental Primary School of the Affiliated Middle School of the Beijing People's Congress, wrote in a stroke.
