▲Recently, the official website of the Provincial Health and Family Planning Commission issued an administrative punishment announcement, which punished Mianyang Central Hospital.

What the hell is going on?
The reason is that the hospital arranges for radiation workers who have not been examined for occupational health before taking up their posts to engage in radiation work, and in addition, the hospital does not guarantee that contact radiation workers wear personal dosimeters.
As a result, the court was fined RMB200,000.
Basis of punishment: Articles 75 and 87 of the Law on the Prevention and Control of Occupational Diseases
Article 75:In any of the following circumstances, in violation of the provisions of this Law, the production safety supervision and management department shall order the work to be rectified within a time limit and impose a fine of not less than 50,000 yuan but not more than 300,000 yuan;
(1) Concealing occupational disease hazards caused by technologies, processes, equipment, or materials;
(2) Concealing the true situation of the unit's occupational health;
(3) Toxic or harmful workplaces, radioactive workplaces, or the transportation or storage of radioactive isotopes that may cause acute occupational injury do not comply with the provisions of Article 26 of this Law;
(4) Using equipment or materials that may cause occupational disease hazards that are expressly prohibited by the State;
(5) Transferring operations that produce occupational disease hazards to units and individuals that do not have the conditions for protection against occupational diseases, or units and individuals without conditions for protection against occupational diseases accept operations that produce occupational disease hazards;
(6) Dismantling or stopping the use of protective equipment for occupational diseases or emergency rescue facilities without authorization;
(7) Arranging for workers who have not undergone occupational health examinations, workers with occupational taboos, juvenile workers, or pregnant or lactating female workers to engage in operations that are exposed to occupational disease hazards or taboo operations;
(8) Commanding or forcing workers to carry out operations without protective measures against occupational diseases in violation of regulations.
Article 87:The supervision and management of the control of radioactive occupational disease hazards in medical institutions shall be carried out by the administrative department of health in accordance with the provisions of this Law.
In addition, Article 25 of the Law on the Prevention and Control of Occupational Diseases also clearly stipulates that for the transportation and storage of radioactive workplaces and radioactive isotopes, employers must be equipped with protective equipment and alarm devices to ensure that staff exposed to radiation wear personal dosimeters.
