The "Love In" trilogy, using eighteen years to tell an imperfect love

author:Under the sweet orange tree

"Love Before Dawn Breaks", "Love at Sunset and Dusk", "Love Before Midnight", the famous "Love in" trilogy, the "talking film" that I could not watch when I was young, have finally finished patiently and movingly watching it.

The trilogy was released in 1995, 2004, and 2013, and the original team, spanning eighteen years, had romance, had beauty, was fragile, and was unbearable, and finally still trying to love each other.

1.

The first part, Love Before dawn, is a short but brilliant encounter.

On the train to Paris, Jesse was an American youth who flew back to the United States on a flight to Vienna, and Selina was a French student who returned to Paris after visiting her grandmother in Budapest.

Two strangers, suddenly intruding into each other's world, met in the carriage, talked happily, and exchanged ideas about life, love, and ideals with great interest, until the train stopped in Vienna.

Jesse, reluctant to part ways, invites Serena to get out of the car and roam Vienna with him, spending his last night in Europe. Selina agreed.

So, from noon to dusk, from night to dawn, they wandered the streets of Vienna, talking freely, about parents, about music, about the past, about death, there was no end to the conversation.

In the interesting conversation, the love gradually rises and thickens, and before the dawn breaks, the two hearts are close to each other and attract each other.

When they separated, they did not exchange contact information, but met again at the parting station after six months.

2.

The second part, "Love at Sunset and Dusk", was stolen by regret for nine years.

The second encounter was not in Vienna half a year later, but in Paris nine years later.

Nine years later, Jesse became a writer and was married and had children. The place where they met was the bookstore where Jesse held a new book sale, and the book was written about the wonderful but short time he and Selina had spent together nine years ago.

So, again, they wandered the streets of Paris, talking freely about the troubles of life, about growing up, about literature, about the deep regrets of these nine years.

It turned out that nine years ago, because of the death of her grandmother, Selena did not go to the appointment, but she has been trying to find Jesse in the vast sea of people.

It turned out that Jesse, who had gone to the appointment, wrote this book in the hope that Selena could find him through this book.

That memory, though short- Selena has been in love several times, but has never been able to enter the marriage; although Jesse has entered the marriage, she has never found a resonance.

At sunset and dusk, people who are happy to meet can finally tell each other their hearts.

3.

The third part, "Love Before Midnight Falls", keeps in love in an imperfect reality.

Nine years later, Jesse and Selena married, settled in Paris, and had twin daughters.

The son of an ex-wife, the troubles of work, when romantic love meets a small reality, even if they are still in love, they cannot avoid contradictions and conflicts.

They quarrel, reconcile, quarrel, reconcile, repeat, repeat.

Jesse said, "I've given you my whole life, I don't have anything more to give, I'm not going to give it to anyone else." If you want to disqualify me from love, I will not allow it. I love you, I have no doubt about that. ”

When the family came to Greece for a holiday, they still quarreled, but fortunately, they strolled along the quiet village road or sat idly on the terrace, and they were still talking freely, about life, about love, about ideals.
