"Thickly plant the concept of reading, let the fragrance of books moisten the barracks." In order to arouse the enthusiasm of officers and men for reading and create a learning atmosphere of "loving reading, reading good books, and being good at reading," a certain brigade of the Eastern Theater Aviation Corps made full use of the opportunity of "World Book Day" to actively carry out reading activities.

1. Book sharing session
All branches actively held "reading sharing meetings," and officers and men took turns to stand on the podium as the protagonists, and through the mode of "recommending and sharing good books," "reciting classic excerpts," and "exchanging reading experiences," they shared their "treasure books" with their comrades-in-arms, talked freely about "feelings after reading," and exchanged "reading classics."
▲ Corporal Peng Chenggang recommended the book "Towards Glory" for everyone.
▲ First-class sergeant Xia Taotao shared with his comrades-in-arms the feelings after reading "Long March".
▲ The superior soldier Yang Zechen recited the wonderful fragments of the reading.
2. Let's get together and read books
In the leisurely afternoon, in the brigade's "Pioneer Book Bar", a group of "clubbing" book friends gathered. They may gather in groups of three or five to discuss the wonderful content they have read, or they may hold a book and read quietly, thinking. In this strong reading atmosphere, officers and soldiers immersed themselves in the world of books, constantly drawing spiritual nourishment from it and charging themselves.
3. Harvest by reading books
On the booth, the officers and men "dried" out the reading harvest, or the beautiful excerpts, or the touching storyline, or their own reading feelings. In this way, they recorded their own reading journey and profound insights, and shared wonderful content. Many officers and men stopped to watch and immerse themselves in the reading experience.
▲ Officers and men stopped to watch the "harvest of reading."
"Books are the carrier of knowledge and culture, and the crystallization of the wisdom of human civilization." Through reading books, we can continuously enhance the political attainment of officers and men, improve their knowledge level, boost the development and growth of the contingent of talented personnel, and further enhance the troops' ability to win battles. It has been learned that the brigade has always vigorously advocated that officers and men use their spare time to study and study, regularly organize reading activities, and have a strong reading atmosphere. With the development of a series of mass reading activities, reading by all staff has become a "ladder of progress" and "nutrition supply" for officers and soldiers to grow into talents, and the fragrance of books has moistened the entire barracks.
