The two titles will be used as part of Sega's previously announced "Super Game" program to fulfill Sega's vision of seeking long-term revenue and building an online community. Fortnite has a profound impact on the operation of these games: free to play, cross-platform, host events, and include additional activities such as vehicles, construction, and socializing in addition to regular battles to motivate players to make in-app purchases.

According to people familiar with the matter, the new "Crazy Taxi" has been in development for more than a year, and the Tokyo Sega team expects to release the game in two to three years. In last year's Sega Sama's annual financial report, "Crazy Taxi" and "Graffiti Kid" appeared together in Sega's IP assets and may get the opportunity to hd, remake or restart the old game. According to sources, both works are currently in the early stages of development and there is a possibility that they will be cancelled.

In the original Taxi Madness, the player was responsible for playing as a taxi driver who was above all speed, while in Graffiti Kid, the player was a member of a street skating gang that completed various challenges while graffiti. Both of the original titles landed on the Sega Dreamcast platform in 2000, and while the series never had a widespread commercial success, it managed to attract a group of die-hard fans.

As of press time, Sega has not commented on the report.
