"It's not easy to finally meet them!" When the nurse carried the 3 little babies to Ms. Xie's side, her eyes were red with excitement.
Ms. Xie, a 28-year-old from Henan, has given birth twice before and has a son and a daughter. In October last year, Ms. Xie became pregnant again, and she was triplets. What is even more surprising is that Ms. Xie's conception did not use high-tech aids such as IVF, but natural pregnancy.

In the first trimester, Ms. Xie developed hypothyroidism, which had adverse effects on the mother's health and the growth and development of the fetus. "At that time, I was really at a loss, and the hospital doctor who visited me suggested that I reduce the fetus, telling me that the three-child pregnancy was very difficult and risky, and there would be more problems in the future." Ms. Xie said.
But not willing to give up the little life given by Heaven, Ms. Xie and her family found Fan Cuifang, director of the obstetrics department of Wuhan University People's Hospital, through consultation.
Fan Cuifang introduced that from a medical point of view, triplet pregnancy is more harmful to the body of pregnant women, which is easy to cause complications such as hypertension, diabetes, heavy bleeding, and excessive amniotic fluid, which is a high-risk pregnancy. However, Ms. Xie and her family's attitude of resolutely wanting to give birth to a child made Fan Cuifang deeply moved, and she formulated a detailed personalized obstetric examination plan for Ms. Xie.

Under the care of the obstetric team, Ms. Xie went all the way through the barriers, and in the last 4 months of pregnancy, she was basically in bed to protect the fetus. Until April 16, Ms. Xie saved the fetus for 36 weeks and 2 days, and Fan Cuifang's team performed a caesarean section for Ms. Xie.
Happily, the triplets did not have the low weight common to multiples, but each one was rosy,000 pounds, weighing 4.9 pounds, 5.5 pounds, and 5.2 pounds, respectively.
