In the next three days, there will be light to moderate rain in southern Jiangnan, most of south China, southwest China and other places, and heavy rain in some areas; Inner Mongolia, Gansu, Ningxia, central and northern Shaanxi will have 4 to 5 westerly winds, and gusts can reach 6 to 8.

Among them, on April 18, there was light snow or sleet in central and eastern Tibet, southern Qinghai, and parts of the northern Sichuan Plateau.

From April 19 to 20, moderate rains were felt in parts of southwest and central Yunnan, southeastern Guangxi, Guangdong and southeastern Fujian.

Looking forward to the next 10 days, it is expected that from April 18 to 27, there will be more rainfall days in parts of the southwest, central and southern Jiangnan, western and northern Parts of South China, with a cumulative precipitation of 40 to 70 mm, some areas of 80 to 110 mm, and more than 130 mm locally; 10 to 30 mm of precipitation in the northeast; except for the above areas, most of the rest of the mainland has less precipitation.

From the perspective of the number of rainy days, there are 3 to 6 rainy days in Guizhou, Chongqing, southern Hunan, northern Guangxi and Guangdong, and the cumulative rainfall in most of the above areas is 20% to 60% more than the same period of the year.

2. Strong convective weather is frequent

It is expected that on April 18, there will be strong convection weather such as thunderstorms and strong winds (8 to 10) or hail in central and southern Yunnan, southern Shandong, and northern Jiangsu. The public in the above areas are requested to make reasonable arrangements for travel, reduce the time for outdoor activities, and in case of danger, please immediately hide in buildings or cars with lightning protection facilities.

  • From the 18th to the 20th, there will be light to moderate rain in southern Jiangnan, south China, southwest China and other places, and heavy rain in some areas; Inner Mongolia, Gansu, Ningxia, north-central Shaanxi and other places will have 4 to 5 westerly winds, and gusts can reach 6 to 8 levels. On the 20th, there was sand or dust in eastern xinjiang and southern Xinjiang, central and western Inner Mongolia, Ningxia, western Gansu and other places, and there were local sandstorms.
  • On the 21st and 22nd, there will be cold air affecting Inner Mongolia, North China and Northeast China, the temperature will drop by 4 to 8 °C and be accompanied by 4 to 6 winds, gusts of 7 to 9, and local sand or dust weather; in the eastern and northeastern regions of Inner Mongolia, there will be small to moderate rain, uneven distribution of rainfall, and local strong convective weather such as thunderstorms and strong winds and short-term strong precipitation.
  • From the 23rd to the 25th, there was light to moderate rain in the eastern part of the southwest region, Jianghan, Jianghuai, Jiangnan, and northern South China, and local heavy rain or heavy rain.
