Time ran to the end of the Ming Dynasty and the beginning of the Qing Dynasty, just in these forty-two capitals, that is, the Yangwu Village next to the pillar group, there lived a family surnamed Xu, this family's son Xu Zhidan had just passed the examination for the title, and soon the Qing soldiers attacked, he said that "the head does not stand up to the Qing Dynasty, the feet do not step on the Qing Dynasty, the belly does not eat the Qing Dynasty grain", and he hid alone in his own library and was starved alive. During the Shunzhi period of the Qing Dynasty, Xu Zhidan had a student who was serving as an official in the court and told the Shunzhi Emperor about Xu Zhidan's "starvation to death in the Shuge", and the Shunzhi Emperor praised Xu Zhidan as a loyal subject. Once, the Shunzhi Emperor was on a tour in Jiangnan and came to Guangxin Province to search for Xu Zhidan's descendants, but his descendants were afraid of being punished and did not dare to admit that they were Xu Zhidan's descendants, so the Shunzhi Emperor had no choice but to name the Entire Forty-Two Capitals of Xu's family as the "Seventh Xiangxian". During the Qing Dynasty, the Pillar Stone Academy, also known as Wenchang Pavilion, named "Pillar Stone", was built on the xu family boundary to show the Xu family's style of "loyalty to the king and patriotism for the people".
