The exhibition is sponsored by the Federation of Literary and Art Circles of Hengyang City, Hunan Province.

"Compared with the natural landscape in reality, I prefer the landscape of the humanistic context." Shi Jianjun said that after hundreds of years of evolution, Chinese painting embodies the spiritual appeal of Chinese literati to natural landscapes and carries all the spiritual ideals of Chinese.

"I pay more and more attention to the Chinese experience in my paintings, the so-called Chinese experience such as Chinese modeling, China's unique composition methods, and even the traditional narrative methods and the creation of spiritual artistic conceptions." Shi Jianjun said.

Shang Hui, director of the Art Theory Committee of the China Artists Association and editor-in-chief of Fine Arts, said that the oil paints of Shi Jianjun on display this time repeatedly sketched these curved scenes that constantly gave people reverie with simple and thick pigments and brushstrokes.

The commentary pointed out that Shi Jianjun's oil paint Jiangnan wrote the parting through a strong expressiveness, which showed composure, coldness, psychedelic, melancholy and bitter melancholy.

"He used the language of oil painting to interpret more deeply the deep meaning of 'the sound of the willow flute in the evening wind, the mountains outside the sunset'." Shang Hui said that the realm of remembrance has become the spiritual core of the painter's artistic language transformation of oil painting, and has extended the reader from his brushstrokes and colors to a deeper place.

Shi Jianjun, born in 1969 in Shaodong, Hunan, graduated from the second studio graduate class of the Oil Painting Department of the Central Academy of Fine Arts, and is now a member of the China Artists Association and the China Oil Painting Society. Shi Jianjun's paintings are committed to exploring the transformation of traditional elements in a new context, so that traditional images can be revitalized.
