Cardinals signed a one-year deal with outside receiver A.J. Green
On Thursday, ACCORDING TO NFLNetwork reporters, cardinals and veterans took over A.J. Green.' Green) signed for a year. Green contributed 54 catches to the Cardinals last season, advancing 848 yards and three touchdowns.
Due to the presence of De Andre Hopkins, Green had to take over from the Cardinals outside the number two, but he quickly played his own value. With Christian Kirk out, the Cardinals need to make sure they retain a reliable receiver, and Green is in line with that and is already familiar with the Cardinals' offensive system.
Currently, in addition to Hopkins and Green, the Cardinals' outside lineup includes Rondale Moore and Antoine Wesley. The person who passed the ball for them was somewhat uncertain, though, and according to NFLNetwork, Kyler Murray would not play for the Cardinals until a new contract was awarded.
Green first played for the Tigers, playing in 127 games, contributing 649 catches to Cincinnati, advancing 9430 yards and 65 touchdowns. He joined the Cardinals in the 2021 offseason on a $6 million-a-year contract.
Packer signs an outside to take over Sami Watkins
On Thursday, according to NFLNetwork reporters, packers will sign a one-year contract with veteran takeover Sammy Watkins, with contract salaries up to $4 million.
The Packers have lost three strong receivers this season: Davante Adams was traded to the Raiders, Marquez Valdes-Scantling and Equanimeous St. Brown. Brown) signed with the Chiefs and the Bears respectively.
The packers' current outreach lineup also includes Allen Lazard, Randall Cobb and Amari Rodgers. The Adams deal gave the Packers a first- and second-round pick from the Raiders, who also had the opportunity to add potential newcomers to the draft.
Injuries are a problem that has plagued Watkins' career, and he has missed 30 games in the past seven seasons. So far in his career, Watkins has completed 348 catches, advanced 5,059 yards, and touchdowns 34 times.
