Raiders and Jaguars will face off in the Hall of Fame tournament
On Monday, US time, the league officially announced that the Raiders and Jaguars will face off in the Hall of Fame tournament held on August 4, 2022, kicking off the preseason.
Former Raiders receiver Cliff Branch, defensive striker Richard Seymor and former Jaguar interceptor Tony Boselli will be officially inducted into the Hall of Fame on Aug. 6.
Blanche was named to the Pro Bowl four times in his career and to the All-Roc Team three times, making him one of the most active receivers of his era. In his 14 career years, Blanche completed 501 catches, advanced 8685 yards and 67 touchdowns. Seymour was named to the Pro Bowl seven times and the All-Team team twice, spending the final four seasons of his career with the Raiders.
Bosiri was the jaguar's first inductee into the Professional Football Hall of Fame and the first player in Jaguars history to be selected. Bossiri has been selected for the Pro Bowl 5 times and the All-Team team three times in his career.
Quarterback Keller Murray submitted a contract extension to the Cardinals
On Monday morning, US time, Kyler Murray and the Cardinals offspring "love-hate feud" ushered in a new turn.
Murray's agent, Erik Burkhardt, said in a statement that Murray had submitted a detailed renewal to the Cardinals. Burkehart also said in the statement that if the team wants to always have the strength to compete for the championship, it needs to maintain long-term stability, which is exactly what Murray can bring to the team.
Burckhardt said Murray was willing to stay with the Cardinals for the long term and was "eager to win the Super Bowl."
After losing to the Rams in The Outer Card, Murray's dissatisfaction with the Cardinals' performance was palpable. In an interview, he said he believed last season could be seen as a "huge failure." The Cardinals started 7-0 but ended up with just 11-6. Asked what went wrong, Murray replied, "I hope I can answer you too."
According to ESPN reporters reported this month, Murray was very disappointed in the Cardinals, believing that he was used by the team as a scapegoat for poor performance.
