Wang Yaobin, a "post-80s" in Luanchuan County, Luoyang, Henan, is a carpenter who returned to his hometown to start a business. Rather than saying that Wang Yaobin returned to his hometown to start a business, it is better to say that he returned to the countryside and lived a "Tao Yuanming-style" landscape pastoral life.

Wang Yaobin built a carpentry workshop in the deep mountain old forest, named "a mountain wooden house", with the back of the mountain, the water in front of it, and the "thin land and three points" next to it. It is hard to imagine that many years ago, Wang Yaobin also wore professional clothes, shuttled through the "jungle" of reinforced concrete, and lived a nine-to-five urban life. After a while, he walked out of the mountains and was tired of the city life at that time. Therefore, Wang Yaobin decided to return to his hometown, dream of the countryside, and find the appearance of his original life.

In 2016, the work of a carpenter in Jingyu County, Jilin Province, and a sentence of "learn a craft, go to a free life" made him eliminate the doubt of "where to go and what to do", resolutely resigned, and went north to study art.
This trip completely changed Wang Yaobin's life and met his current wife. The two share a common mountain upbringing and dream of chasing a pastoral life. After the spring of 2017, they returned to Wang Yaobin's hometown together and began the "Dream Project".

Starting from brick by brick, building exhibition halls, building workbenches... Because of the limited funds, most of the workshops are done by themselves. Wang Yaobin said, "Borrowing part of it, crowdfunding part of it, the carpentry workshop spent a total of nearly 300,000 yuan." ”

Nowadays, carpentry is not only Wang Yaobin's means of making a living, but also a way of life for him. This can be seen in the corners and corners of Wang Yaobin's home, such as a wooden recreational rocking chair, a long desk, a homemade reflective large-aperture telescope...
"I do carpentry more about having fun, not just about how many orders I take and how much money I make." Wang Yaobin's daily working hours are not fixed, and when he does not want to do carpentry, he will lazily lie on the wooden rocking chair to read and think, and when he is suddenly inspired, he will take out paper and pencil to draw ideas.

Building an astronomical telescope is Wang Yaobin's sudden inspiration. One summer night, he happened to look up and see the sky full of stars, evoking the memories of him lying on the roof of a bungalow and looking at the stars as a child. Wang Yaobin introduced: "Like me, the children in the village have never used an astronomical telescope to see the vast starry sky. ”
Study the principle of astronomical telescopes, purchase necessary optical components, polish the lens barrel by hand, repeatedly debug... With the idea, Wang Yaobin began to put it into action, and after two months, the telescope was built and achieved the ideal viewing effect.
Wang Yaobin immediately carried the built astronomical telescope to the village primary school. In the evening, more than 200 teachers and students of the village primary school saw the beautiful starry sky through the "cannon barrel" telescope with surprise and excitement.

Nowadays, Wang Yaobin's carpentry workshop is famous, and many enthusiasts have come to learn from Wang Yaobin or experience the life of carpentry.
Wang Yaobin told reporters that especially during the holidays, many people in the city bring their children to the carpentry workshop to experience life, "I often bring them up the mountain to pick up waste wood, and then come back to polish the waste wood into their favorite look." ”
On the eve of the Spring Festival this year, Luanchuan County recruited "township innovation operators" for the whole country to attract aspiring talents to be "green water and green mountains partners".
