Cybertruck first debuted in 2019 and was originally expected to hit the road in 2021, but in fact its mass production schedule has been delayed several times. According to Tesla, the gigafactory in Austin, Texas, covers an area of about 338 million square feet (about 31.4 million square meters) and can produce 1 million vehicles per year when fully operated, and half of them will be Model Y.
