In order to further promote the effective power growth, the M510 has been revolutionized for rotors, segmented stators, and adopted a magnesium housing, which reduces the weight of the M510 by a full 18% compared to the M500, which weighs 3.4 kg, to only 2.9 kg.

In different power situations, whether in a bike park or a technically challenging uphill aisle, the M510 mid-motor is ideal in terms of performance.

Installation and compatibility

In addition to the lighter architecture, the mid-mounted motor optimizes water resistance and adds a 12V lamp module. In addition, the M510 is compatible with ISCG05-spec chain guides, has the same motor mounting method as the M500/M410, and offers a hidden speed sensor mounting option.

The M510 motor is compatible with most of Bafang's other products, such as downtube batteries, DP E180/181 with LED gauges, color screen meter DPC242, two different magnetically fixed hidden speed sensors, and the upcoming Octagon APP. With regard to the product components mentioned above, Octagon's in-house production capacity ensures a delivery time of 60 to 90 days.
