2. Purchase electricity

This year's electricity consumption in the summer of 2024 will exceed the estimates of previous years, and this year we plan to buy electricity from China and neighboring countries as we did last year.
According to the latest data, Vietnam's current purchase of electricity from the mainland is about 1.8 billion kWh. This figure is likely to rise even higher after the middle of summer. In addition to purchasing electricity, Vietnam has also purchased nearly 30,000 generators from the mainland and neighboring countries to meet its needs.
Seeing this, in fact, many of us understand that if Vietnam wants to develop, it is still inseparable from the strength of our China and needs our Chinese support. Although Laos and Vietnam are very close, there are many difficulties in transmitting electricity.
At the same time, Laos's economic conditions are worse than Vietnam's, and its own affairs are still too busy, so it is actually very difficult to help Vietnam. On the map, the southern part of the mainland and the northern part of Vietnam are closely connected. At the same time, the southern part of the continent is the most developed place, so it naturally undertakes such a task.
Especially after the opening up of the epidemic, the mainland began to make great efforts for Vietnam's power supply projects, continuously transmitting and helping to install power installations in Vietnam. This is the big windmill we are most familiar with, which generates electricity from the wind.
This kind of windmill is not only seen in Vietnam, but also in many parts of the mainland. For example, in Henan, Hebei, Shaanxi and various places in the northwest of the mainland, they often appear in the vast rural areas and suburbs.
In fact, the electricity sold by the mainland to Vietnam is also generated in this way, which has a variety of benefits. For example, it can convert wind energy into electricity, which is very economical and does not take up too much land.
3. The concerns of the Vietnamese people
Speaking of which, before the arrival of this summer, the Vietnamese government has made full preparations to maintain normal production and people's livelihood in the country. In fact, even if the relevant departments have made a lot of power supply measures or purchased a large amount of equipment, it is inevitable that this situation will still happen. Compared to before, Vietnam's power outage handling is already very good. In the past, there were two to three days of power outages in northern Vietnam in the summer. This sparked protests from many local residents, and the Vietnamese government also expressed helplessness over it.
But with the development of the entire national economy in Vietnam, the problem of power outages has been greatly improved. The number of power outages in the summer is now numbering, and many residents are slowly becoming very satisfied.
