IT Home reported on May 19 that VinFast, Vietnam's "new car-making force", recently announced that in the 66 hours after the release of its new model, the micro pure electric car VF3, it has received 27,649 non-refundable and non-transferable large orders, which is the largest number of orders among all new cars in Vietnam.

According to foreign media insideevs reported today, VinFast has set up an online booking page and has also reached cooperation with a number of local e-commerce platforms. Not only that, but the new car will also enter the U.S. market.

Production of the new car will also start "soon", with the first deliveries scheduled for August onwards. VinFast says it aims to deliver at least 20,000 VF3s by the end of the year.

The starting price of the car is VND 322 million (note from IT House: currently about 91,126 yuan), and users can also choose the "rental" option without batteries, and the price has been further reduced to VND 235 million (currently about 66,505 yuan).

The car measures 3190x1679x1622mm with a wheelbase of 2075mm and has a two-door, four-seat layout. In terms of power, the new car is equipped with a 32kW rear-wheel drive motor with a maximum torque of 110Nm, a range of 130 miles (about 210 kilometers) in NEDC mode, and a lithium-ion battery pack with a capacity of 18.64 kWh, and a charging time of 36 minutes from 10% to 70%.
