In the early morning of today (April 8), Smart Genie #1 was released, and the new car was built based on Geely's SEA vast platform, positioned as a pure electric small SUV. The design is carried out by mercedes-Benz's global design department, and the engineering research and development is responsible for the global R&D center of Geely Holdings, and the new car will be listed in China this year and will be sold in overseas markets in the future.
In terms of appearance, the new car basically follows the design style of the concept car previously released, the front face adopts a closed intake grille design, the two side headlight groups adopt a blackening treatment, and the internal matching lens is connected by the through-type daytime running lights. The body line looks more rounded, the roof adopts a suspension shape, and the door handle adopts a pop-up design, which can effectively reduce the wind resistance. The wheel eyebrows and side skirts are blackened, embellishing a certain sense of crossover. The tail is designed through-through, and the bottom is also equipped with a silver gray anti-scuff plate, which effectively increases the sense of strength. The new car has a length, width and height of 4270/1822/1636mm, and a wheelbase of 2750mm.
In terms of interior, the design style of the new car is relatively simple, providing a three-spoke multi-function steering wheel, a full LCD instrument panel, a floating central control screen and an electronic pocket block, and the HUD head-up display function is not absent.
In terms of configuration, the new car is equipped with ADAS intelligent driver assistance system, including intelligent parking assistance, adaptive cruise, pilot assistance, lane keeping, emergency avoidance and other functions.
In addition, the new car is also equipped with a front trunk, but the capacity is only 15L, basically only the charging equipment can be put down, but even so, it can free up the space in the trunk.
In terms of power, the new car adopts a rear-drive design, equipped with a maximum power of 272 horsepower electric motor, peak torque of 343N·m, the maximum speed of up to 180km/h, but the 100 km acceleration performance has not yet been announced; with the capacity of 66kWh ternary lithium battery pack, WLTP working conditions under the cruising range of 420km-440km, the maximum support 150kW fast charging, only 30 minutes can be replenished from 5% to 80%.
