6 years up 10,000 times, once a piece of speculation to 10 million, but now it has become a stall

With the development of the economy, people's quality of life has also been greatly improved, and more and more funds are at people's disposal. In 2021, the national per capita disposable income was 35,128 yuan, an increase of 9.1% over the previous year' nominal increase, and the actual growth after deducting price factors was 8.1%. Per capita consumption expenditure was 24,100 yuan, an increase of 13.6% over the previous year, and the actual increase was 12.6% after deducting the impact of price factors.

In the context of people's money in their hands, the pursuit of hobbies will be even worse. For the Chinese people, due to the influence of the traditional culture of the mainland for 5,000 years, many people's interest in antique play has not diminished, especially jade, which has been sought after by countless people.

Compared with porcelain and calligraphy and painting, jade is easier to preserve, and there is also a certain room for value preservation and appreciation. The gold medal inlaid with jade that appeared at the 2008 Olympic Games made people around the world realize the value of jade again. Jade, as an ore, cannot judge whether it is good or bad before grinding the stone, so the gambling stone industry came into being. For a time, the gambling stone markets across the country were bustling with people.

The so-called gambling stone, to put it bluntly, is the stone dug out of the jade mine, and you have to bet on whether there is jade in the stone. If you have jade in it, you may even become a millionaire, a millionaire or even a billionaire in an instant. If it's full of stones or worthless jade, then you've suffered a lot of losses.

In the past, there was a kind of stone, and in just six years, its value soared 10,000 times, and the price was speculated to tens of millions. But now, this kind of stone has become a stall that no one pays attention to, which is "yellow wax stone". Just by looking at the name, you may not be able to imagine how rare and precious this "stone" is. In fact, in addition to the name of "yellow wax stone", it has another name, that is, "yellow dragon jade". Hearing this name, I instantly felt that this "stone" had become tall.

Yellow wax stone before there is no fire, it is just an ordinary broken stone, many places have it, even spend 100 yuan to buy a car of yellow wax stone, if it is not its bright color can be carved, it is estimated that no one will care about it. The reason why the price will be hyped to 10 million is mainly because the capital operation behind it gives it a distinctive meaning.

Yellow wax stone is abundant in the Longling area of Yunnan Province in the mainland, and although it has exquisite lines and a charming yellow color, the audience market is very small. Even if the skilled teachers are exquisitely carved, it is difficult to get people's favor. It wasn't until four years later that a jade smith carved a very exquisite bracelet out of yellow wax stone, with good color, water head, and transparency. Some enterprises heard about it, and came with a planning team, with the characteristics of "yellow" and "from Longling County", and named these yellow wax stones with "close" quality to jade - Huanglong jade.

Sometimes, changing the name is changing the life, and with the help of the public relations company, the name "new jade" is just played out. No one noticed the initial phrase "close to the jade level", and without any official document endorsement, with just one name, Huanglong jade became a hot collection on the market at that time. In just six years, its price has risen 10,000 times, and many players have flocked to it, even at the expense of thousands of dollars.

Jade merchants with a keen sense of smell also began to go crazy, and a large number of jade merchants poured into the Little Black Mountain in Longling, Yunnan, to mine yellow wax stone, and some even illegally mined it in order to make money. The data shows that at that time, there were as many as 5,000 illegal mining personnel per day, and the daily trading volume of the Huanglongyu trading market in Longling County was not less than one million yuan.

As more and more people joined the mining team, the local environment was also seriously damaged. In order to protect the local natural environment, Huanglongyu was defined by the local government as a "scarce resource of the country", and in 2006, the local government sealed the Little Black Mountain Mine. Whether Huanglongyu is stone or jade is still inconclusive, and this paper document took the lead in giving it a "scarce" hat.

The word "scarcity" undoubtedly deepens the player's "fascination" with Huanglongyu. Some people even think that in the future, Huanglongyu may be as valuable as Hetianyu. With word of mouth, Huanglongyu has become more and more popular with investors. The price of rough was once as high as tens of thousands of pounds, and the price of Huanglongyu's ornaments was even more jaw-dropping, up to tens of millions of pieces.

In this case, some professionals in the literary and entertainment circles have come forward to deny the value of Huanglongyu. To them, topaz is just a simple piece of quartzite, with no standards for nephrite and jadeite. The "Jade Five Virtues", which do not conform to the tradition of "gentle and subtle, consistent in appearance, comfortable in voice, meticulous and tenacious, and cracked without hurting people", are worthless from the perspective of long-term collection value. Therefore, no matter how beautiful and expensive Huanglong jade is, it is only a beautiful stone, not a beautiful jade.

Under the review of the situation, many traders realized that the price of Huanglong jade may plummet and began to sell. In 2009, fanatical capitalists began to leave the market, no longer creating momentum for Huanglongyu, and the price of Huanglongyu completely collapsed. Without a lot of momentum, Huanglongyu gradually lost the market, even the most exquisite ornaments were ignored, prices plummeted, and merchants engaged in Huanglongyu sales speculation suffered heavy losses.

On February 1, 2011, the national standard of "Jewelry and Jade Name" (GB/T16652-2010) was officially released and implemented, and Huanglong jade was listed in natural jade, obtained the "identity card" issued by the state, and officially became a kind of jade. However, all this came too late, and the market price of Huanglongyu had already fallen off a cliff.

Huanglongyu, a rising star from the jade world, has gradually evolved into a local "specialty" of Yunnan, which can be seen everywhere on the stalls. The legend of Huang Longyu also came to an abrupt end. These things also remind us that we must not blindly enter the collection industry, and if we are not careful, we will lose our money.
