1) Elon Musk is now Twitter's largest shareholder. Twitter employees and analysts alike are now wondering how he will influence the company with that 9.2 percent stake — though some just want the stock price surge to continue to rise:

On Monday, Musk disclosed the surprise acquisition in a regulatory filing that sent Twitter's stock soaring 27 percent.

Two employees told reporters they hoped the stock price rally would continue until May when their stock trading window opened again. Another person considering leaving the company because of low stock prices said he might reconsider whether to hold shares in the company.

One analyst pointed to some of Musk's previous tweets predicting that the billionaire Tesla CEO might try to push for change. Another hinted that he might "play a more active owner role on Twitter."

2. Polestar supplied Hertz with 65,000 rental cars. Drawing on Tesla's experience, the electric car maker will launch the Polestar 2 sedan over the next two years (he's probably the coolest electric car you've never heard of).
