On April 1, the Housing Management Bureau of Hongshan District went to the Fuhushan Martyrs Cemetery to carry out the Qingming Festival sweeping activity with the theme of "Remembering Revolutionary Martyrs and Inheriting the Red Spirit", deeply remembering the revolutionary martyrs, deepening gratitude education and revolutionary traditional education, and stimulating patriotic feelings.
The Fuhushan Martyrs' Cemetery is a resting place for benevolent people in different historical periods of the Xinhai Revolution, the Great Revolution and the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, and there are 9 tombs of 5 provincial-level cultural relics protection units, including the tombs of The First Martyrs of Xinhai - Liu Cemetery, Lantianwei Tomb, Cai Jimin Tomb and Liu Jing'an Tomb, as well as the tomb of Li Hanjun, a major representative of the Party.
In front of the tomb of the revolutionary martyr Li Hanjun, all members solemnly observed a moment of silence, collectively relived the oath of joining the party, and paid homage to the martyrs' monument. Through the sonorous and powerful oath, he expressed his infinite mourning and admiration for the revolutionary martyrs, and presented flower baskets to send mourning.
Subsequently, everyone conscientiously and solemnly swept away the fallen leaves around the martyrs' tombs, lightly wiped the dust on the tombstones, and carefully read the biographies of the revolutionary martyrs, and were deeply touched by their magnificent revolutionary deeds, saying one after another that the revolutionary martyrs defended the dignity of the party with their own blood and young and precious lives, and dedicated themselves to the party and the people.
The funeral and sweeping activity of the Fuhushan Martyrs' Cemetery responds to the call of the Civilization Office of the District Committee for the promotion of flowers and environmental protection, and is an important part of the education of revolutionary traditions, patriotism and socialist core values, and has created a strong atmosphere of carrying forward the spirit of martyrs and inheriting the red spirit in the bureau.
